CT-FAST Easy-Entry’s intuitiveness and user-friendliness is a result of:
using default values for parameters whenever possible;
defining several levels of data entry, for instance enrollment may be defined either at the trial, country or site level;
using dynamic graphical representation of data entered;
providing comprehensive data consistency checks to help the user correct data entry errors;
using qualitative and easy ways to obtain information for complex parameters (e.g. titration probabilities);
using a step-by-step (wizard-like) assisted data entry process;
The flexibility of CT-FAST Easy-Entry allows the trial to be designed
with or without stratification/dose titration/variable factors (e.g. weight);
with different stopping criteria (total patients enrolled/randomized/completed);
with or without competitive enrollment;
with different randomization levels (trial, region, country or site);
with visit intervals defined in a cumulative or non-cumulative way;
with dose titration and dropout probabilities, whether dependent or not on stratum.
